A Thank You Note to the Firefighters
I thanked all the firefighters at Bishan Fire Station sincerely. You showed us the many equipments and vehicles in the station. I was deeply amazed at the sight of them. I felt that you firefighters are the few of the bravest people in the world, saving people and putting out fires.
You firefighters let us learn a lot of values (e.g. problem solving, critical thinking and leadership.) When we learnt about problem solving from you, we knew that solving a problem faces difficulties like saving people in a blazing fire. However, you also told us not to give up so easily and ought to persevere. When learning about critical thinking, we realised that we ought to think more maturely and come up with solutions to solve problems.
As for leadership, we learnt that we must be cooperative leaders and work with people to think of solutions to conquer difficulties and solve difficult problems. We also can get suggestions from teammates as they may be useful in our problem solving. We also discovered that we can be a leader in many ways. Some of the ways are: having visions and working out problems using actions, not words. We must also organise our time well. We also must be creative in our ideas, using our imagination to create wonderful plans.
Now, I would like to represent the other Neumind students to thank all of you for your brave effort.
